KHA Releases Sepsis Report

KHA released a report Friday, September 13, sharing the latest data on sepsis in Kentucky. As September is Sepsis Awareness Month, this is an opportune time to review the details available to bring further attention to sepsis and how Kentucky’s hospitals are working to treat and prevent this condition.

The report provides information on sepsis inpatient discharges, total charges attributed to sepsis, inpatient days for sepsis patients, and payer distribution, along with race, gender, and age range of sepsis patients.
