The KHA Quality Team recently presented the KHA Patient Safety Hero Award to Tabitha Yates, Emergency Department Manager at Flaget Memorial Hospital. Yates was nominated by a colleague who noted she “is a champion for patient safety” through her exceptional patient care and advancement in patient safety at Flaget Memorial Hospital. She makes it a priority to foster collaboration and communication with patient families and team members.
