The John E. and Betty A. Capito Scholarship Fund was established as perpetual trust within the College Heights Foundation on January 4, 1995, by a gift mad e by Mr. John
W. Capito. The number and amount of awards will be determined based upon the development of the fund, the rate of earnings, and other factors that affect the availability of funds.
Recipients are to be full-time students at Western Kentucky University.
Recipients must be majoring in nursing.
Recipients must be residents of Kentucky.
Preference is given to students residing in Bowling Green or Warren County, with residents of the counties contiguous to Warren given second consideration.
Recipients must possess the personal qualities of character, integrity, dependability, industriousness and human compassion which produce leaders and merit the honor of the award.
