KHA Town Hall: Meeting the Mandate, Supporting Survivors: SAFE Exam Training for Kentucky Hospitals
June 30 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Hospitals with Emergency Departments across Kentucky are now required to provide training on Sexual Assault Forensic Exams (SAFE) for staff registering and caring for patients who present as victims of sexual assault, including those who are responsible for medical records and billing. This webinar will walk you through what the law requires and how your facility can meet those expectations with practical, ready-to-use solutions. Hear directly from the Kentucky Association of Sexual Assault Programs (KASAP) about available training resources, including options to access courses through KASAP’s learning management system or integrate them into your own. You’ll leave with next steps to ensure compliance while strengthening your hospital’s response to survivors. This is a KHA members-only Town Hall, and registration is required.
