KHA Testifies on HB 194

Share

On February 8, KHA Senior Vice President of Policy and Government Relations Jim Musser testified alongside Representative Kimberly Poore Moser in support of her bill, HB 194, before the House Health Services Committee. The legislation addresses the fact that Kentucky’s health care workers are under attack and expands assault in the third degree to include causing or attempting to cause physical injury to a person employed by or under contract with a hospital if the event occurs in or on the premises of a hospital or hospital-owned outpatient facility.

The full testimony will be available once archived on KET Legislative Coverage website at https://ket.org/legislature/archives/2024/regular.
