KHA regularly recognizes state legislators who have exhibited exemplary service to the hospitals of Kentucky and the patients they serve. KHA honored Kentucky Representative Josh Bray Friday, August 9, as a KHA Legislative Champion for 2024 during a meeting at Rockcastle Regional Hospital and Respiratory Care Center in Mount Vernon.

KHA awarded the KHA Legislative Hero Award to Representative Wade Williams while at Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville on August 12.

Both legislators were commended for leadership in the House and their recognition of the importance of high-quality health care for every Kentuckian.
