During the KHA Annual Convention, one recipient is awarded the KHA Health Care Governance Leadership Award. This award is granted to a hospital trustee who has demonstrated dedication to assuring the availability of health care and the viability of their hospital.
To be considered for this award, the nominee must meet the following criteria:
- current member of a hospital or health care system governing board
- leadership in hospital governance, understanding the strategic vision of the hospital
- demonstrated understanding of the ambassadorial role of hospital trustees
- exceptional service and involvement in local civic organizations
This is a great opportunity to recognize the outstanding leadership of a member of your facility’s board. The award will be presented at the KHA 95th Annual Convention (May 20-22) in Lexington.
