When a serious safety event or near miss occurs, an effective Root Cause Analysis and Action (RCAA) process can be the difference between a missed opportunity and meaningful, lasting improvement. Yet many health care leaders struggle to conduct RCAAs that move beyond compliance and drive real change.
Join the KHA Quality team for a four-part learning series designed to help hospital leaders build confidence and competence in every stage of the RCAA process. From understanding the fundamentals to developing impactful action plans and participating in a realistic tabletop exercise, this series will equip attendees with practical tools they can immediately apply within their organizations.
Parts 1–3 will feature instructor-led education presented by KHA Associate Vice President of Quality and Health Professions Casey Franklin, BSN, RN, CPHQ. Part 4 will be co-led by Casey Franklin and KHA Associate Vice President and Associate General Counsel Kristen Fowler, and will provide participants with an immersive, hands-on RCAA simulation.
