During this interactive session, we’ll review discharge data from Kentucky Hospital Emergency Departments to better understand why utilization continues to increase every year. Participants will learn how to use service markers to identify hospital patient encounters involving emergency services, analyze key patient characteristics that influence utilization pattern, and use procedure codes to classify patient acuity levels.
