KHA President & CEO Nancy Galvagni testified at the Kentucky House Human Services Committee meeting in Frankfort today alongside St. Claire HealthCare CEO Donald Lloyd, II, and attorney Mark Guilfoyle of DBL Law representing St. Elizabeth Healthcare. The team spoke in opposition to HB 204 (Proctor), which seeks to amend Certificate of Need (CON) regulations.

After a very thoughtful discussion, the bill failed to pass the Committee. Many legislators expressed a desire to continue further discourse via the CON Taskforce and thanked KHA and hospitals for their work to provide ideas to modernize the CON process.
