KHA Quality Team Presents Patient Safety Hero Award to Blake Cantrell, Morgan County ARH Hospital

The KHA Quality Team was proud to present the KHA Patient Safety Hero Award to Blake Cantrell, Director of Pharmacy of Morgan County ARH Hospital.

Cantrell was nominated by a colleague who notes he is an “exemplary pharmacist who always keeps the patient’s best interests first and foremost in his thoughts and practice. Medication Safety is always on his mind.” He makes a priority to foster collaboration and cooperation with a smile on his face. Cantrell’s colleague continues to remark on his expertise in patient safety, “He is always ready & willing to participate in facility, local & community events wherever he is needed. Cantrell sets an example of safe, person-centered care for both patients, staff and others around him that we should all emulate as well as truly appreciate.” KHA is grateful to Cantrell and other patient safety leaders whose commitment to the care they provide makes a difference for their patients and their communities!
