The KHA Quality team congratulates Shelly King from Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital for successfully becoming an Ostomy Management Specialist (OMS), a designation that is nationally recognized and provided by the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCO). As a recipient of a KHA scholarship for this certification, King and a class of her peers attended an intensive week-long prep course provided by Relias, and hosted on-site at KHA headquarters, and then successfully passed her certification exam to earn her new credential. Thank you for your commitment to excellence in providing care for your patients and community, and congratulations on your success!
