Kentucky Hospital Association Partners with Rellevate Inc. to Enhance Employee Financial Wellness

Share

The Kentucky Hospital Association (KHA) Solutions Group Board has approved ESP Global as its newest Affinity Partner, expanding the portfolio of vetted resources available to Kentucky hospitals focused on cost stewardship, transparency, and operational excellence.

ESP Global is an equipment service consultancy that works on behalf of hospitals to evaluate, benchmark, and competitively source medical equipment maintenance services. Unlike service providers or vendors, ESP Global operates through a vendorneutral, datadriven model, serving as an advocate for hospitals to help ensure fair‑market pricing, strong contract terms, and sustainable service strategies.

The approval follows a thorough vetting process conducted by KHA, including multiple “Shark Tank” sessions with hospital leaders across supply chain, facilities, and clinical engineering, as well as formal review by the KHA Solutions Group Board.

Why ESP Global Was Selected
During the vetting process, ESP Global’s approach resonated with hospital leaders for several key reasons:

  • True vendor neutrality. ESP Global is not a service provider and does not sell maintenance services. Instead, the firm serves as an independent consultant focused solely on hospital interests.
  • Deep industry expertise and benchmarking. ESP Global leverages decades of experience and a large national benchmark database to help hospitals assess current contracts and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • A structured, competitive RFP process. Hospitals benefit from a transparent, vendor‑neutral process that drives competition and improves pricing and service terms.
  • Proven, documented results. Case examples shared during vetting demonstrated meaningful cost savings and improved service alignment without disrupting hospital operations.
  • Flexibility across hospital structures. ESP Global works collaboratively with supply chain, clinical engineering, IT, and operations teams, depending on how equipment service is organized within each hospital.

Supporting Kentucky Hospitals
Through the KHA Affinity Partner Program, ESP Global will be available to KHA members interested in evaluating their medical equipment service strategies, including outsourced, in‑house, or hybrid models. ESP’s two‑phase approach includes an initial assessment of existing service programs followed by competitive service realignment, when appropriate.
