HB 477 Passes House

The Kentucky House of Representatives yesterday passed HB 477 with a vote of 96-0! The bill ensures Medicaid covers early Sepsis diagnoses in alignment with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The bill is sponsored by Representative Amy Neighbors, who testified on the bill alongside KHA’s Deb Campbell and Russ Ranallo of Owensboro Health last week at the House Health Services Committee.

The bill now moves on to the Senate.
