KHA Town Hall: Price Transparency: What’s Required, What’s Coming, What to Do Now

December 18, 2025 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Hospitals continue to encounter challenges related to price transparency. However, compliance remains a moving target due to the evolving nature of regulations and the increasing technical complexity involved. In this session, explore the latest update from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), released in December 2025, as well as anticipated changes in 2026, ensuring health care provider organizations are equipped to balance immediate compliance with long-term strategies. The discussion will focus on updates around price transparency, the No Surprises Act, and the data sources behind them.

Speaker Nikki Graves, MBA, CHFP, the senior director of operations for RCM Consulting at CorroHealth, will discuss the machine-readable files (MRF) data reporting requirements, modifications to the MRF attestation, and changes to the Civil Monetary Penalties (CMP), among others. Additional topics will include specific data and information (median and percentile allowed, claim count, hospital contact, etc.), shoppable services, and TXT files. The session will break down the price transparency requirements, provide actionable insights to avoid deficiencies, and discuss what hospitals need to know now to prepare for what’s next.

Target Audience: CEOs, CFOs, COOs
