KHA Town Hall: Kentucky Heart Systems of Care: We’ve Come a Long Way

Greg Brislin will share information about this collaborative, state-wide committee whose aims include reducing cardiovascular mortality, identifying regions of the state with high mortality and developing action plans to coordinate resources to address the needs of the region, improve CPR and EHAC use and care in the community and schools, support educational and community organizations, assisting EMS with improving care and communication, and improving Hospital (ACC and AHA) based metrics like Cardiac Rehab and Door In Door Out times for facilities. This volunteer group is made up of representatives from the cardiac world across the state, including many hospitals and systems.
Target Audience: Nursing and quality leaders, physician leaders, accreditation managers, cardiology/cardiac leaders, ED leaders and staff
