On Tuesday, May 20, Anthony Robles will speak to attendees at breakfast. Robles was born without a right leg, yet he never let disability stop him from achieving his dreams. With unrelenting determination – and the belief that he could do anything – he defied all odds and became a champion collegiate wrestler, competing against able-bodied athletes. An NCAA Division I Champion, three-time All-American, and a recipient of the ESPY Jimmy V Award for Perseverance, Robles inspires others to believe that they too can overcome the odds.
In this moving, awe-inspiring presentation, he shares his extraordinary life story – now chronicled on the big screen in a major motion picture starring Jennifer Lopez and Jharrel Jerome – and illustrates how perseverance, hard work, and a strong belief in yourself can not only lead you to success but make you unstoppable.
On Wednesday morning, May 21, join Kentucky Department for Public Health (KDPH) Commissioner Steven J. Stack, MD, MBA as he discusses, “Our Healthy Kentucky Home,” a Team Kentucky initiative with the KDPH. The program will engage and inspire Kentuckians on a personal journey of achievable health and wellness improvements through increased physical activity, improved nutritional health, and decreased social isolation through targeted interventions.

Navigating Central Bank Center
KHA’s 96th Annual Convention is held at the Central Bank Center (CBC) located at 430 W. Vine St. Lexington, KY, 40507. There is a parking lot across the street located on W. High St. If you park in this parking lot, you will cross the street and enter the CBC through the doors closest to the Hyatt or the entrance on the far left. Once you enter CBC from High Street parking, you will be located on the third floor.
- If you enter from the main entrance on the far left, you will walk straight until you see stairs. Go down one flight of stairs and you will see KHA signage that will direct you to registration down the hallway to your right.
- If you enter from the entrance closest to the Hyatt, you will walk straight until you see stairs or an elevator, look for KHA signage and go down to the second floor. Registration will be located against the windows facing Main Street.
- If you enter from the Main Street entrances, you will see KHA signage indicating to go up a flight of stairs to the second floor. Signage will direct you to registration.
