The Northeast Kentucky Area Health Education Center (AHEC) Kentucky Rural Health Association Student Chapter focuses on advancing community health through education and engagement. The chapter is open to undergraduate students enrolled in pre-professional health care programs within the northeast Kentucky region. Members strengthen their competitiveness for professional program applications through job shadowing, community service, leadership development, networking opportunities, and state and national presentation experiences.
