CHARGE (Creating Healthcare Advancement and Rural Growth through Nursing Education) is an application-based program for high school juniors and seniors interested in pursuing a nursing career. The program provides targeted academic and career development support to help students prepare for postsecondary education in nursing and health care. Participants engage in job shadowing, study skills development, résumé preparation, compassionate care skill-building, and exposure to multiple nursing career pathways. CHARGE also supports informed decision-making related to college and vocational nursing programs. Students who complete the program may elect to participate in ACT-test preparation through The Princeton Review.
