The Annual North Central Health Career Showcase offers high school students from across North Central AHEC’s service region the opportunity to explore more than 30 health care career pathways.

Held each fall at Northern Kentucky University and each spring at Gateway Community and Technical College, the event features interactive sessions with health care professionals and access to state-of-the-art simulation labs. Each student receives a Health Career Matrix, a guide to health care education programs available at colleges and universities across Kentucky.

In 2024, the showcase welcomed more than 700 participants, with continued growth anticipated in future years.
