Hosted by North Central Area Health Education Center (AHEC), the Gaps2Gowns Nursing Pipeline Program supports high school students exploring careers in nursing. Participants complete two Health Education Systems Incorporated (HESI) practice exams and receive guided study in key subjects, including biology, chemistry, algebra, and reading comprehension.

Students also engage virtually with a Health Career Coordinator to develop essential professional skills such as taking vital signs, conducting patient interviews, and building résumés. The program aims to prepare students for future job shadowing opportunities with local hospitals.
