Pathways by Northeast Kentucky Area Health Education Center Using Virtual Reality Education (PAVE) is a workforce development program that uses virtual reality technology to support hands-on health care skill training. Participants engage in virtual informational webinars, workforce training sessions, monthly in-person meetings, and a one-week hands-on work experience. Each cohort runs from January through August and is designed to increase exposure to health care careers and skill development through immersive learning.
