Join KHA for a town hall on House Bill 219 which mandates sexual assault response training for all emergency department staff statewide. During our session you’ll hear from the Kentucky Association of Sexual Assault Programs (KASAP) and their development of a comprehensive training for ED staff (including medical providers, nursing staff, billing/registration teams, etc.) to simplify HB219 compliance for hospitals. The team’s end goal is to create digestible video segments covering the core content of HB219 and make them easily accessible to hospitals.
