AVADE Hospital Home Health Care Safety Instructor Training

On March 27 – 28, KHA is partnering with a Joint Commission-accredited workplace violence prevention company, AVADE®, to offer a member hospital home health representative the opportunity to attend the Hospital Home Health Care Instructor Training Course in Workplace Safety. This offering is on a first come basis, so register early for this important educational session.

This session will host 25 hospital representatives (one attendee per member home health hospital) or organization, who will receive FREE training ($1,300 value).

The AVADE® home health care program equips home health providers with specialized training to navigate the unique risks of working in clients’ homes, emphasizing personal safety, de-escalation techniques, and compliance with safety regulations. It covers strategies for situational awareness, domestic violence risk recognition, self-defense, and trauma-informed care, ensuring providers can safely and effectively manage challenging environments.

NOTE: Please wear clothing and shoes appropriate for PHYSICAL ACTIVITY.
