The KHA Quality Team congratulates the newest KHA Patient Safety Hero, Jane Schmoll, Director of Environmental Services & Linen of Norton Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
Schmoll received the KHA Patient Safety Hero Award for her exceptional leadership and commitment to creating a safer environment for patients and staff. She has strengthened environmental services practices through hands-on staff education, collaboration with Infection Prevention, and the innovative implementation of EPIC Rover to improve communication, cleaning documentation, and accountability. Jane’s passion for continuous improvement and her willingness to advocate for safe practices demonstrate the vital role environmental services play in patient safety and infection prevention.
