Please read more for a detailed look at their projects and what exciting information you will learn from our hospitals! \nWhitesburg ARH: Grounded and Secure: Mastering Fall Prevention\nBelinda Ritchie\, DPN\, RN\, CPHQ\, HACP-CMS and Jessica Johnson\, MBA\, BSN\, RN from Whitesburg ARH hospital will be presenting their hospital improvement project on mastering fall prevention. Their goal for this project was to reduce the fall rate to less than 2%\, improve quality outcomes by decreasing injury from falls and develop a call committee. With the success of the implementation of their project\, they were able to exceed their goals to reduce falls. \nRobley Rex VA Medical Center: Sepsis Care: Our Journey to Improvement\nAnita Dahl\, DPN\, RN\, CPHQ from Robley Rex VA Medical Center will be presenting on their goal to improve sepsis composite by developing a policy for implementation of sepsis campaign guideline\, reinforce IV fluid documentation process\, add a sepsis shift hand off tool as well as host of other interventions to improve their sepsis metrics.
