Guest speaker and subject matter expert Farrah Sheehan\, MSN\, RN\, IBCLC\, PMH-C\, is a perinatal nurse educator\, researcher\, and consultant whose work focuses on respectful\, equitable\, and supportive care for all families; birth trauma recovery and prevention; and care for substance-exposed infants and their families. Their goal for this project was to reduce the fall rate to less than 2%\, improve quality outcomes by decreasing injury from falls and develop a call committee. With the success of the implementation of their project\, they were able to exceed their goals to reduce falls. \nRobley Rex VA Medical Center: Sepsis Care: Our Journey to Improvement\nAnita Dahl\, DPN\, RN\, CPHQ from Robley Rex VA Medical Center will be presenting on their goal to improve sepsis composite by developing a policy for implementation of sepsis campaign guideline\, reinforce IV fluid documentation process\, add a sepsis shift hand off tool as well as host of other interventions to improve their sepsis metrics.
