SUMMARY:Sepsis Case Abstraction Office Hours
DESCRIPTION:The Kentucky Sepsis Consortium’s Sepsis Case Abstraction Office Hours will continue in March\, with the next session being scheduled for Friday\, March 16\, 2026\, from 1:00–2:00 PM ET.  These  collaborative sessions are designed to support sepsis abstractors in accurately identifying CMS SEP-1 abstraction cases for Severe Sepsis and Septic Shock—critical components for patient safety\, regulatory compliance\, and appropriate reimbursement. \nDr. Billie Delauder will bring her CMS sepsis abstraction expertise and together with Deb Campbell\, VP of Clinical Strategy and Transformation\, will provide guidance\, answer practice-focused questions\, and review case rationales and applicable guidelines. Participants will also have the opportunity to pose questions directly to CMS Quest. \nQuality leaders and sepsis abstractors are encouraged to attend and are welcome to bring case-specific questions. \nPlease note: No Private Health Information (PHI) will be shared during this event. \nFor our member hospitals:  Invitations will be sent to existing members of the event\, however if you or someone you know would like to be included on future invites\, please contact Billie Delauder at bdelauder@kyha.com
