DESCRIPTION:On March 27 – 28\, KHA is partnering with a Joint Commission-accredited workplace violence prevention company\, AVADE®\, to offer a member hospital home health representative the opportunity to attend the Hospital Home Health Care Instructor Training Course in Workplace Safety. This offering is on a first come basis\, so register early for this important educational session. \n\n2-day Course\n16 hours of Instruction\nMembers: Click here to register\n\nThis session will host 25 hospital representatives (one attendee per member home health hospital) or organization\, who will receive FREE training ($1\,300 value). \nTraining will be held at:\nNorton Orthopedic and Hand Center\nNorton Medical Plaza Two |9880 Angie’s Way\, Suite 120 | Louisville\, KY 40223 \nMore Information\nInstructor: David Fowler\nThe AVADE® home health care program equips home health providers with specialized training to navigate the unique risks of working in clients’ homes\, emphasizing personal safety\, de-escalation techniques\, and compliance with safety regulations.
