DESCRIPTION:Please join KHA for our monthly Sepsis Consortium webinar on Thursday\, December 7 at 1:00 p.m. ET entitled The New York Experience. \nSpeakers: Foster Gesten and Kathy Shure \nFoster Gesten and Kathy Shure each had key roles in the development of the NY sepsis statewide initiative. Foster will provide background about how New York stated and implemented their sepsis initiative from the NY State Department of Health perspective. Kathy will discuss how she navigated the state agencies to issue the guidance that dealt with insurer payment issues from her position at the Greater NY Hospital Association. \nPlease Note: As the regularly scheduled date for Sepsis webinars in November and December fall near or on upcoming holidays\, we will combine the two webinars into one to be held on December 7 at the usual time of 1:00 p.m. (ET). Again\, we will not have a Sepsis webinar on November 23 or December 28\, instead we will have a webinar on December 7.
