Via lecture and Power Point visual aids, this virtual offering will explore the traditional IP program partners and explore new ones that fill critical practice, education, and patient outcome gaps.

Objectives– At the conclusion of this offering, attendees will be able to:

1. Review traditional infection prevention and control partners such as pharmacy, microbiology, nursing, and environmental services.
2. Identify new areas of collaboration and steps to identify, nurture, and promote these new relationships.
3. Explore next steps in partnerships in order to support the changes and new integrative approaches for contemporary infection prevention and control programs.

Target Audience: Infection Preventionists (IPs), IP leaders, Clinical leaders, Quality Leaders, and other health care professionals committed to excellence in the field of infection prevention and control.

Continuing Education: The Kentucky Hospital Association is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Kentucky Board of Nursing (KBN). KBN approval of a continuing nursing education provider does not constitute endorsement of program content.
