The University of Kentucky’s Center on Trauma and Children (CTAC), in partnership with the Kentucky Department for Behavioral Health, has developed this series of podcasts for health care professionals who are facing the COVID-19 pandemic. This is funded by a grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration, and is intended to provide psychosocial support for health care and behavioral health professionals providing care to those affected by the coronavirus.

Emotional Wellness Support for Nurses

The Kentucky Nurses Association (KNA) in collaboration with the International Society of Psychiatric Nurses (ISPN), has developed mental health support services for nurses throughout the state.

Kentucky Nurses Helping Nurses was created to support nurses working on the frontlines during the COVID-19 crisis. It was born out of an acknowledgement of the challenges you face, the impact this can have on your wellbeing and mental health and a desire to help.

Compassion Tribe

Online forum to support the mental and emotional needs of all caregivers and health care workers managing through COVID-19. The Tribe has also created a serious of videos on topics such as resilience, burnout and leading through change.
