KHA VISION
KHA Vision Statement
"The Association will represent hospitals, related health care
organizations, and integrated health care systems dedicated to sustaining
and improving the health status of the citizens of Kentucky."
KHA MISSION STATEMENT
"To become an
association that represents and serves hospitals, related health care
organizations and integrated health care systems that are accountable to
the community and oriented toward community health improvement. Where
appropriate, the Association will seek to involve other health care
facilities, physician groups and other medical professional corporations,
health plans and other integrators."
OBJECTIVES
In asserting leadership and
providing assistance to members, KHA:
- Represents and advocates the interest of hospitals in
the development and implementation of health policies that enhance
their ability to deliver health care services to their communities
- Provides services to hospitals that encourage and
assist them in fulfilling their responsibilities in a cost-effective
manner
- Establishes affiliations or joint ventures to augment
and support the programs of the Kentucky Hospital Association and its
subsidiaries
