| Purpose and Objectives:
The purpose of the Organization shall
be to advance the development of effective administration in nursing
service in hospitals by:
- Provide a forum for the interface
of ideas and dissemination of information and materials relevant
to nursing administration.
- Provide educational opportunities
for leadership development.
- Provide a collaborative approach
with other organizations to influence public policies pertaining
to health care issues.
- Provide an opportunity for
networking and support.
The Organization is organized
exclusively for charitable, scientific, and educational purposes as
a not-for-profit association. It shall be conducted so that no part
of its income or earnings will inure to the benefit of any member,
director, officer, or other individual. Upon dissolution, the assets
shall be distributed to an organization enjoying an exempt status
under S501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code or successor
statutory authority.
