KHA supports all hospitals and other health care organizations adopting tobacco-free campus policies to improve the health of their patients, employees and community. KHA is offering encouragement, support and resources to its member hospitals, health systems and other Kentucky health care organizations to establish tobacco-free environment policies. KHA is working with members to identify needs by sharing information about how Kentucky and other states are becoming tobacco-free, providing a resource kit and technical assistance, and linking hospitals with supportive initiatives.
