| PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The purpose of KSHAP shall be to
promote understanding and support of healthcare organizations and
their services through upgrading the skills of the administrative
professional throughout the healthcare organization.
The objectives of KSHAP shall be to
initiate and foster programs and activities to fulfill the purpose
of the Society by:
- Developing a network of
healthcare professionals among peers for support resources.
- Conducting educational programs
for the purpose of upgrading administrative professional skills;
and
- Mentoring other healthcare
professionals to raise standards, develop their knowledge, and
increase their competence.
KSHAP is organized as a
not-for-profit association. It shall be conducted so that no part of
its income or earnings will inure to the benefit of any member,
director, officer, or other individual. Upon dissolution, the assets
shall be distributed to a tax-exempt organization under S501(c) of
the Internal Revenue Code or successor statutory authority.

Membership is open to those persons
employed full time or permanently part time as secretaries and/or
assistants to administrative officers and managers with primary
responsibility for day to day activities in any Kentucky hospital or
healthcare organization/facility. Applications for membership may be
obtained by contacting any of the officers or members at large.
Membership dues are $50 per year. |
