Monthly Submission Deadlines for 2nd quarter
2004
for CMS Qnet Exchange Warehouse
COMPdata has received requests from hospital performance measurements contacts to submit data to the CMS QNET Exchange clinical warehouse more frequently within each quarter. By submitting more frequently, hospitals will not be rushed at the end of a quarter to clean up any Medicare soft edit issues and any Medicare cases that fall out due to improper identification of Medicare patient HIC numbers will be identified sooner.
COMPdata is happy to announce data will now be submitted to CMS on a monthly basis for all 4 measurement topics (AMI, HF, PNE and SIP), as applicable to each facility.
All 2nd Quarter 2004 performance measurements data received and processed at COMPdata as of August 23, 2004 at 12:25 p.m. Mountain Time was submitted to CMS QNET Exchange yesterday, August 26, 2004. Data received after the above-mentioned date/time will be included in the next submission to CMS scheduled for September 7, 2004. Monthly submissions to CMS will continue as follows:
