Comprehensive Leadership for Senior-Level
Executives
Thomas A. Atchison, Ed.D.
Leadership is part art and part science that is learned and
developed over time. High performing health care executives
understand the need for lifelong development of both the art and
the science of leadership. Yet how do successful executives
coordinate the disparate pieces of leadership to form a mosaic
of purposeful culture and aligned values, and communicate their
vision in a way that effectively rallies followers around
organizational goals? This seminar is designed for those
senior-level health care executives who want to continue to
fine-tune their leadership potential. Tools, concepts, case
studies and measurable indicators used to drive and measure
superior leadership performances will be the focal point of this
seminar.
Thomas A. Atchison, Ed.D., is President and founder of
Atchison Consulting Group. Since 1984, Dr. Atchison has
consulted with health care organizations on managed change
programs, teambuilding and leadership development. He has
consulted to the military, health care vendors and government
agencies on the intangible aspects of health care. He also has
taught several courses on leadership and change management for
the American College of Healthcare Executives. Dr. Atchison’s
expertise in health care is built on over 35 years experience in
a variety of management positions in health care institutions
and organizations. He earned his doctorate degree in Human
Resource Development from Loyola University of Chicago and is an
associate member of the ACHE.
