LexingtonAl Cross is Director of the Institute for Rural Journalism and
Community Issues at the University of Kentucky and a former weekly newspaper
editor and manager and political writer for The Courier-Journal. For the
last three years, he has been working to build bridges between health
professionals and journalists so journalism can be a tool for helping rural
Americans live healthier lives. This presentation will examine recent changes in
news organizations and the implications for health care providers and
journalists covering health care. |
